About Us

Code of the Geeks is an engineering company in Sittard, the Netherlands, founded by Jasper Schrader, MScEE, who has spent more than twenty years writing embedded software in the semiconductor and electronics industry.

We work on firmware and bare-metal embedded software involving RF and connectivity (IoT, LTE-M, NB-IoT, BLE, GNSS, WiFi), DSP & software signal processing algorithms (OFDM, audio, sensors) and test and production software for manufacturing lines. Our firmware contributions have made their way into high volume products such as TVs & set-top boxes (>4M), GPS trackers (>500k), gaming devices (>50k), and at the other extreme safety-critical, highly regulated one-off products like pacemakers with customized firmware to facilitate medical studies. So we've got what it takes to deliver industry standard software and services.

Our company's internal interests in audio processing and psycho-acoustics have led to hosting small, focused, free online utilities at tools.codeofthegeeks.com.
The audio tools there — a loudness normalizer, a format converter, a tag editor, etc. — are free and need no sign-up. Most of them run entirely in your browser, so your files never leave your machine; the few that need real computing power say so on their own page.
